What Is Bot Traffic?
So bot traffic actually is not from human. As you can see from the word bot. It's actually comes from a bot or crawler. Not all the bit traffics are bad. Because some bot traffic is needed to crawl your website. If you want to index your website on google. Google bot needs to crawl your website. Which is normal. But there is a bad type of bot traffic.

Bot Spam Traffic.
When a specified bot visited too much on your website. You have to be alert. Because it can be a bot spam traffic. Because most of good bots and crawlers visits your site a few times. But bad bots sends you spam traffic. Likely if a bot sends you more than 500 or more traffic on your website or a post in some hours or minutes. Then it's a spam traffic. It can down your website for some hours.
Many times your haters sends you bot traffic. Because they are jealous. When a bot visits your site too much. Your hosting storage will get low too much. After some time your site can go down. This also have bad effect on your website ranking. Because most of the time spam bot traffics come directly to your website without any oraganic search.
How To Detect Bot Traffic.
At first, you need to analyze your blog analytics. You can use google analytics. If you see any ip address, country or device is giving you too much traffic directly without any organic search. If the traffic coming from same ip address or country. Then it must be a spam traffic. If it's coming 24 hour from some specific ip addresses then it's a bot spam traffic. You have to block this as soon as possible.
How To Block Bot Spam Traffic Easily.
I will tell you the easiest way to block the spam traffic. At first you need to connect your website with cloudflare. It's very important and good for your website. When you connect your website you have to go on firewall section. Then create a firewall rule.
First name anything of the rule. Then on field you can select many things. If you want to block a specific ip or country select the country. On operator select equals to and on value put the specific ip, country or other names. On action you can choose block to stop the whole traffic from the ip or country. Or you can choose captcha or javascript challenge. When a person will visit from the ip he need to complete the challenge or captcha to visit your site. I kept block because I don't know the bot ip. It can be from one ip or multiple. But my bot traffic was coming from Netherlands that's why I blocked whole traffic from Netherlands.
You can also go on bot section under firewall on cloudflare and turn on the bot fight mode. But it will not show you any analytics which ip was blocked. I blocked netherlands and I got some bots ip address.
You can see this bots are coming in every sing minutes on my website. That's why I blocked whole netherlands. Now I can also block this specific ip addresses or turn on captcha challenge to prevent bot traffic.

How I Detected This Bot Traffic.
My this blog infokeeda is very new and not ranked yet. My this blog gets 10-100 views everyday. But few weeks ago my blog started getting 800-1000 views. It increased more and started getting daily 1.5k- 2k views. I didn't checked my analytics. But one day I checked my analytics and I found my all traffic was coming from Netherlands. My blog was not ranked on any keyword. Only few views was coming from keyword. But most of the views was coming directly. On my search console netherlands was not the top country where my keywords ranked. My netherlands view amount and directly visit amounts was the same.
Then I got it. It was a bot traffic. Which was coming directly and now I blocked this bot traffic for my sake. Because bot traffic is very bad. It can be a reason for your adsense account getting disable and not ranking your site on top pages.

Because without getting any problems you can't face the problem and get a solution. You can do research on bot traffic detecting and blocking. You can also block bot traffic through google analytics.
